Product description

Coconut CB-102 is a mixture of coconut and soybean hydrogenated oil without the addition of other waxes or additives.
Completely natural, biodegradable wax from renewable sources, of indisputable quality, which is confirmed by the use of this wax mixture in the candles of the most famous high-end brands in the world.


Combining the stability of soy and the superior aesthetics of coconut wax, the resulting candles are characterized by:

  • Intense aroma (by using the same or even a smaller percentage of scented oil, it is possible to get a candle with superior diffusion of the scent compared to a candle made of pure soy wax)
  • Smooth surface without cracks and imperfections (the property of soy wax to shrink during cooling, forming cracks and uneven surfaces is significantly reduced)
  • Reduced possibility of crystallization, i.e. the formation of a whitish film on the surface of candles (frosting)
  • Rich creamy structure
  • The perfect white color gives a luxurious look
  • Color fidelity (easier to create the desired colors, whether bright or muted)
  • Durability (even and slow wax burning)

Keep wax and candles away from sunlight, in a dry and cool place, especially during the summer months when the wax may melt during transport.

Instructions

Melt the wax in a melting pot or a double bottom steamer at a temperature of 85°C. Make sure that the temperature does not exceed 90°C, because the wax may become discolored. Remove from heat.

If you are using colors and scented oils, add them to the melted wax and mix gently for 2 minutes.

The optimal pouring temperature is 65°C (+/-5°C), and it largely depends on the ambient temperature and seasonal changes.

Allow the wax to cool to a uniform room temperature as slowly as possible to achieve good adhesion and a smooth candle surface.

Although the candle will look ready to use after just a few hours, the wax takes a few days to harden completely. We recommend that the candle stand for at least 48 hours before use, and if it is a scented candle, 7-14 days.

Due to the lower melting point, proper storage of the made candles is very important. Keep candles away from sunlight, in a dry and cool place.
