Product description

CB-200 Coconut wax is 100% hydrogenated coconut oil without the addition of other waxes or additives.

  • Eco friendly – ​​This luxurious wax is made from sustainable coconut from green plantations that ensure the well-being of future generations.
  • As a completely natural product, it is biodegradable and non-toxic, both for the environment and for your health. It is considered the best and healthiest wax for making candles because it burns cleanly and does not produce as much soot as other types of wax.
  • CB-200 Coconut wax is an excellent choice for beginners due to the ease of the work process and the exceptional aesthetics of the poured candles.
  • Pure white color, silky creamy structure, adheres to the walls of the container completely and gives perfectly flat and smooth candles.
  • A favorite among candle makers due to its ability to release fragrance easily and quickly.
  • He gets scared easily.
  • Very low melting point, coconut wax burns evenly and slowly, which allows your candles to last longer (up to 30-50% longer than traditional paraffin candles). It is suitable for the use of essential oils, which normally do not tolerate high temperatures.


It is often mixed with other waxes in order to obtain candles of superior aesthetics, better burning quality and better aroma release.


It is recommended to mix it with another wax to ensure stability during the summer months, when the wax may melt during transport, etc.

Instructions

Melt the wax in a melting pot or a double bottom steamer at a temperature of 85°C. Remove from heat.

Add the desired scent and/or color and mix gently for 2 minutes so that the ingredients are well integrated with the wax before the wax cools to the recommended pouring temperature of 56°C-60°C. If you use essential oils, add them at a temperature of 70°C.

Although the candle will look ready to use after just a few hours, the wax takes a few days to harden completely. We recommend that the candle stand for at least 48 hours before use, and if it is a scented candle, 7-14 days.

Due to the lower melting point, proper storage of the made candles is very important. Keep candles away from sunlight, in a dry and cool place.
